Summer LBDs.
There is nothing as versatile as the LBD. Layered on for fall or pared back for summer, black dresses are a staple of my wardrobe. I usually refresh my collection with a few new, updated iterations every year. This season, short and long hemlines are paired with artfully placed cutouts. Beautiful ruching delivers that billowy, feminine frock silhouette. And if you have redirected your time, your conversations, and in my case, my wallet to newly found black-owned fashion and beauty brands, Tove Studio, featured below, is one of those emerging designer labels co-founded by an ultra talented black woman. I can guarantee this will not be the last time you will hear the brand name (Zara already launched a few copycats in this week’s new arrivals).
